This was announced by the head of the Mykolaiv regional state administration Alexei Savchenko on his Facebook page.

As noted, the incident occurred on the ship Hermes, which goes under the flag of the Comoros. In particular, law enforcement officers seized cigarettes worth over 8 million hryvnia.

According to law enforcers, this unformed foreign goods were attempted to be transported across the state border in the territory of Mykolaiv region.

Recall, as previously reported, "URA-Inform", in the Odessa region, border guards found contraband tobacco products. The total amount of the find is estimated at more than one million hryvnia.
