So, the traffic accident occurred in the state of Anzoategui, 40 km from the border of Bolivan.

According to the Governor of Bolivan, the buses were heading to the city of Puerto Ordaz. Before the collision, one of the buses stopped, and another driver did not notice the maneuver and accordingly crashed into it.

In addition, both buses were accompanied by teachers and workers from the Venezuelan corporation Guayana.
