February 8, at about 00:30, on the Kyiv-Kharkov-Dzhansky highway, near the village of Verkhols of the Poltava district, an accident occurred. As a result of the collision of the intercity minibus Mercedes-Benz and the KrAZ truck, one person died, also injured. This was reported in the State Police of the National Police of Poltava region. According to preliminary data, the inter-city minibus Mercedes-Benz was moving along the Kharkov-Rovno route collided with the KrAZ truck.
The driver of the minibus, a 64-year-old man from the Rivne region, could not avoid a collision with a truck running a 36-year-old Poltava.
As a result of the accident, a 46-year-old minibus passenger died. Another passenger, 27 years old, was hospitalized with injuries. In addition, the driver of the minibus received minor injuries. Doctors examined him on the spot - hospitalization was not needed.
