In Germany, the court sentenced a man who killed 9-year-old Valery from Ukraine. Last summer, he tracked the child on the way to school and strangled: the investigation believes that so 37-year-old Andrey P. I decided to take revenge on the mother of the girl with whom they parted a few days before the murder.
For the deed, the killer will lead the rest of his life behind bars, he did not appeal the verdict. This is reported by Bild.
" to a lifelong imprisonment for the murder of nine -year -old Valeria - a girl from Ukraine who came to Germany with her mother after the start of the Russian invasion. The judges also established a special severity of the crime, which practically excludes the possibility of the early liberation of Andrei P. after 15 years, ”the message noted.
The little girl who fled with her mother to Germany from the war, the defendant deprived his life on June 3 last year. He tracked Valeria on the way to school, dragged him into the forest and strangled. After the deed, the killer escaped from the country, and after 11 days he was detained in the Czech Republic. Later from Prague Andrei P. extracted to Germany, where he appeared before court.
According to investigators, the reason for the brutal reprisal against the child was the desire of the killer to avenge the girl's mother.
" According to investigators, the crime could be an act of revenge. The court verdict became final, the accused did not dispute the verdict, ”the publication summed up.
Confirmed the lifelong imprisonment of the killer and father of Valeria, a soldier named Roman, protecting Ukraine at the front. The man was released to Germany for court.

Valeria and her mother lived in Germany since 2022: they fled to this country from the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine.
As the girl’s mother said, the last time she saw her daughter on the morning of June 3, when she left the house to get into the school bus. However, Valery did not appear at the Valery school that day, but none of the administration of the educational institution reported this to her mother, so she learned about the disappearance of the girl only a few hours later, when the lessons ended.
