In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained an attacker who, according to investigators, almost killed a man. He provoked a fight with a resident of the Dniprovsky district when he walked the dog on the street, and then hit several times with a knife.

This was reported in the press service of the metropolitan police. The suspect threatens up to eight years in prison.

According to law enforcement officers, they received a message from a woman that two men were fighting on one of the streets of the Dnieper region and one of them was seriously wounded.

“Based on information received from witnesses, law enforcement officers quickly found and detained the attacker, a 47-year-old local resident, at his home not far from the scene of the incident.. It turned out that the man had hostile relations with the victim, so when he met him on the street with a pet, he provoked a fight and knife struck a man in his stomach and chest, ”law enforcement officers said.

The victim was hospitalized in a medical facility. Criminal proceedings were opened on the fact of applying an intentional serious wound, and the detainee was reported to the suspicion.
