The Security Service of Ukraine has revealed the scheme of supplies to Russia of products of defense enterprises of Ukraine, organized by the heads of a number of private companies.

The supply scheme was disclosed and interrupted back in March 2020. In July, the SBU conducted searches at defense enterprises in Kharkiv, Poltava, Kiev, Zaporozhye, Odessa, Dnepropetrovsk and Nikolaev regions.

SBU reports some heads of state defense enterprises are involved in the scheme.

In addition to the products of the enterprises, technological developments were also transferred to Russia, adds the Security Service.

According to the investigation, the organizers of the scheme are the deputy director of one of the large Russian enterprises, which provides products to the Russian army and military-industrial complex enterprises.. The organizer has connections with former and current FSB officers.

At this stage of the investigation, suspicions of a crime have been sent to the organizer of the scheme and three representatives of private supplier companies.

On June 19, top managers of Eletrotyazhmash announced suspicion due to supplies to Russia.

On July 9, the SBU disclosed a scheme for the import of mineral fertilizers from Russia at a reduced price.
