The next meeting of the contact group on the defense of Ukraine in the format " Unlike the previous ones, at the 26th meeting, the UK will prescribe, not the United States. This was reported on February 5 by Radio Liberty with reference to sources. The publication does not give other details.
On January 14, Germany Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius said the next Ramstein will be held in Brussels in front of the Munich Security Conference planned for February 14-16.
Pistorius also said: it is still unknown what will happen to the contact group in the future, because this will depend on the new US administration. The United States, for its part, announced a new package of assistance to Ukraine at $ 500 million.
President Vladimir Zelensky took part in the meeting of the 25th Ramstein. Together with Boris Pistorius, he discussed military assistance and support for the production of weapons in Ukraine.
