Moldovan President May Sandu arrived on a visit to the capital of Ukraine. She announced this on social network X on Saturday, January 25.

" I brought a strong message of support for Ukraine and its people. Their courage secures our peace. We will discuss security, energy, infrastructure, trade and mutual support on our way to the EU. Moldova remains a reliable neighbor,” she wrote.

According to the press service of the President of Moldova, this visit is designed to confirm the firm support of Ukraine, which has been fighting for the protection of its freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity for three years, also protecting the world in Moldova.

It is expected that in Kyiv, Sandu will meet with President Vladimir Zelensky, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal and the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.

The main topics of the discussions relate to bilateral cooperation, continuing the connection of the infrastructure of the two countries, trade, cooperation in the process of joining the European Union, regional security and solidarity before general challenges.
