Switzerland announced a significant financial support to Ukraine in the amount of 1.5 billion Swiss francs, which is equivalent to approximately 1.76 billion dollars. These funds will be directly used for the implementation of renovation projects over the coming four years.

The urgent agreement was reached between the Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Kulebi and the Swiss Ambassador Felix Baumann, who informed the Ministry about the development of communities, territory and infra structure of Ukraine. This future will become an important figure in the modern country, as it recognizes the significant losses of the inheritance of the conflict.

From the initial funding amount, 1 billion francs (approximately 1.17 billion dollars) will be spent on projects in the areas of self-government, development and humanitarian assistance. The rest of the funding will be obtained through the Swiss private sector, which is suitable for the implementation of numerous projects in Vidbudova.

Kuleba emphasized the fact that cooperation between Ukraine and Switzerland is developing new important areas. Zokrema, there is a need for a vital life for the internal movements of individuals, the number of which exceeds 4.5 million. This aspect is especially important in the context of the humanitarian situation in Ukraine.

Baumann emphasized that his frequent visits to the regions of Ukraine helped him better understand the needs of the state.

Switzerland is already actively implementing various support programs, including decentralization projects, infrastructure renewal, as well as cooperation with Ukrzaliznytsia in preparation for the fall season.

This initiative of Switzerland brightens up the butt of international support for Ukraine at an important time. The combined efforts of both countries will help Ukraine not only to update its infrastructure, but also to create the foundations for stable development in the future.
