Finland has committed to send a new package of defense assistance to Ukraine in the amount of 100 million euros, confirmed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Another piece of Finland from the Ukrainian side in the minds of current geopolitical movements.

The Minister of Defense of Finland, Antti Hakkanen, said that this decision will not reduce the current security of Ukraine, but will contribute to the underground security in Europe and Finland throughout this decade.

This package will be the twentieth shipment of military equipment from Finland to Ukraine.

It is estimated that the cost of replacing defense equipment included in this package is approximately 100 million euros.

“Finland is losing its steadfastness in supporting the Ukrainian people along with our allies,” added Hakkanen.

According to him, the total value of 20 packages of defense equipment sent by Finland to Ukraine amounts to 1.5 billion euros. If a decision is made about this, I will help protect both the needs of Ukraine and the obvious resources of the Finnish Defense Forces.
