There are often reproaches that in the 80s of the last century, Viktor Orban, who is now the Prime Minister of Hungary, could have been an informer. And such a course of events could explain the leverage of the Russian Federation on Orban, said in an interview with ZN. UA leader of the parliamentary opposition party Momentum Ferenc Gelencher, who spoke with Vladimir Kravchenko.

“Although there is no unambiguous evidence, reproaches are often heard that in the eighties Viktor Orban could have been an informer. The Ministry of the Interior of Hungary during the transformation in the early nineties destroyed a large amount of internal documentation. But there are people who believe that the originals of these documents are stored in the archives of Russia, and many are inclined to believe that it is these folders that are the lever of Moscow’s influence on Orban,” said Gelencher..

He emphasized once again that this cannot be stated unambiguously.. But such a course of events would explain a lot..

“For if these suspicions about Orban as an informant are proven, it would mean the end of his career… I am inclined to believe that this may be true,” Shelencher added..

Ferenc Gelencher is convinced that under the current Hungarian government, escalation is the way to consolidate Hungarian society. And what is happening today in the Mukachevo region of Transcarpathia is not in the interests of Ukraine, Ukrainians, Transcarpathian Hungarians. According to him, this is all in the interests of the Russian Federation and the Hungarian government.. The opposition politician noted that the government of his country is trying to ensure that the Hungarian society does not feel solidarity towards Ukraine and Ukrainians.
