The online publication Important Stories, registered in Latvia, founded by Russian journalists, spoke by phone with the military, who, according to the Security Service of Ukraine, were involved in a missile attack on a residential high-rise building in the Dnieper, which killed 40 people, including three children.

SBU releases details of six soldiers from the 52nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment. It is deployed in the village of Shaikovka in the Kaluga region.

Only two men from the list agreed to answer the journalists' questions: 44-year-old Dmitry Golenkov from the village of Pogar in the Bryansk region and 35-year-old Major Alexei Ivanenko from the city of Morozovsk in the Rostov region.

In a conversation with the publication, Ivanenko said that he did not know what happened in the Dnieper, because he did not follow the news.

“I retired from the army three years ago after they hit me in the head. I retired, now I am engaged in sewage, ”said Ivanenko.

When asked what he thought about the fact that the SBU had opened a criminal case against him for shelling the Dnieper, Ivanenko replied: “Great, now I have to give up?

Dmitry Golenkov, according to the SBU, the chief of staff of the aviation squadron of the Shaikovka aviation group, instead of answering the question about involvement in the shelling in the Dnieper, asked the correspondent a counter question: “Crimea is the Russian Federation or not? For example, I think that Crimea is Russia and has always been”.

After being asked if he was an engineer of the mentioned regiment, the man answered in the affirmative, but after a second he began to deny what had been said..

- I wanted to ask you what you think about the shelling of the Dnieper.

- Wait with the shelling of Dnepropetrovsk. I understand what you want to ask me. But I am a person of the Russian Federation, the Constitution of the Russian Federation is very important to me. I want to ask you as a journalist why you are calling me and telling me that Crimea.... Not. You must say then Crimea is Russia. Why don't you say that?

I said that four subjects and Crimea are ours. Why is Ukraine here? I don't touch Ukraine at all. Ukraine is another independent state. (After some comment, most likely a friend nearby - approx.. ed. ) It is shelling our territory, the Russian Federation, Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporozhye regions, Crimea are shelling. Why don't you ask me about it? You, a girl, are probably from Ukraine. In Russia, journalists do not ask such questions.. Journalists don't ask questions at all.

After several attempts by the correspondent to get an answer from him about the shelling of the Dnieper, Golenkov was indignant:.

“What, I directly fucking pressed the button, or I was sitting in this plane? Crimea is still ours and everything else is ours. What do you want from us?

- You personally do not feel sorry for these people who died in the Dnieper? 40 have already died, many are still under the rubble.

- What people? What are you talking about, I don't understand?

In the end, the conversation did not work out: the men began to shout that Ukraine is a region of Russia, and before hanging up the phone, Golenkov said “the rest of Ukraine will be ours (Russkaya — ed.. )"

The rest of the people on the list refused to communicate with journalists..
