Every third inhabitant of the Russian Federation agrees with the thesis that the Sun revolves around the Earth. This is evidenced by the results of a survey by the pro-government All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM).
At the same time, the authors of the survey note, the number of Russians adhering to this point of view is growing: in 2007 there were 28% of such people, in 2011 - 32%. In 2022, the number of respondents who share this opinion has increased to 35%.

At the same time, 61% of those demonstrating a high level of education are young people aged 18-24. Almost half of them are active Internet users and live in Moscow or St. Petersburg (51%).
