Volunteers in Warsaw ascertain a new wave of refugees from the Ukrainian cities of Vinnitsa and Mariupol after recent shelling.

“There have been more people at the stations in recent days. Volunteers are sounding the alarm that Mariupol and Vinnitsa are coming. People are hungry and tired,” said Adrian Porovska, director of the Camilian Social Assistance Mission, who organizes assistance for Ukrainians, Polskie Radio reports..

She noted that volunteers need dry rations and water for refugees.

During the day on July 17, according to the Polish Border Service, 25 thousand people arrived from Ukraine to Poland, and 29.3 thousand people returned from Poland to Ukraine. Since the beginning of the war, almost five million people have come to Poland from Ukraine, and 2 million 933 thousand people have returned to Ukraine.
