Lithuania is going to buy CAESAR self-propelled howitzers from France. Having informed the Lithuanian Minister of Defense Arvydas Anushauskas ahead of his visit to Paris for the opening of the Eurosatory 2022 exhibition, he was scheduled to have talks with the new Minister of Defense Forces of Germany, Sebastien Lecornu.

The number of self-propelled artillery mounts, as Vilnius plans to come to France, is not specified.
The French howitzer CAESAR was demonstrated earlier in 1994. Before the beginning of the war in Ukraine, there were 76 copies in France, of which six won were handed over to Ukraine. Also, CAESAR howitzers can destroy the enemy forces of Saudi Arabia, Denmark, Indonesia, Thailand, Czech Republic, Morocco and Belgium.
