The prototype for the icon was the work of the artist from the Dnieper Yulia Solomenikova. She was inspired by the original photo of the Hungarian journalist Andras Feldes, in which a mother feeds her own child, hiding from the bombing of Russian invaders. Solomennikova created her own version of the image and shared it on social networks on March 5. According to the artist, Bliznyak and her daughter have become a real symbol of all Ukrainian mothers in this difficult time for the country.. Currently, Tatyana Bliznyak and her child are in Lviv.
