The European Union is preparing a new package of sanctions against Russia, looking back at those who the Kremlin continues the war against Ukraine, the victims of which are a large number of the civilian population.

Ursula von der Leyan, President of the European Commission, said about this year in Brussels in a joint statement for the press from the Prime Minister of Italy, Mario Draghi.

“We may want to discuss the situation in Ukraine, driving the war, as Putin knows. We are negotiable with a new settlement package (sanctions), which we can simply immediately. As you know, we may already have three packages of important sanctions, but at the same time we may change our minds, that the stench of the holidays is not possible and that the effect of these sanctions is the maximum, ”said Ursula von der Leyen.

At the same time, the President of the European Commission respected that these sanctions, which are already enforced by the European Union, are effective and already lead to deep turbulence in the Russian economy.
