The decision to resume the program was approved on Monday, March 1, by the government. Scientists will work to create a vaccine effective against coronavirus mutations.

It is expected that 250 million kroons (about 10 million euros) will be allocated for the development of the drug. The timing of the vaccine is unknown.

Earlier it was reported that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Sophie Vilmes, spoke out categorically against the connection of vaccination against coronavirus with freedom of movement in Europe.. In her opinion, if such a document will be used for travel restrictions, then it will correspond to the purpose for which it is created..

It is also known that the German states of Saxony, Bavaria and Thuringia have offered assistance to the Czech Republic in the fight against coronavirus.. They will donate vaccines.
