It's no secret that most young people dream of leaving the country and think about it at the time of training. Therefore, they are eager to go abroad to study at their university. Naturally, Germany is one of the countries of increased attention of young specialists, because it is closer to the same America.

To be able to get a higher education in Germany, you need to prepare for a rather complex path. To begin with, you need to either graduate from a specialized college, after which applicants receive a referral to a university (there are not many such institutions), or submit documents directly to the university. In the latter case, you need to study in a "native" higher education institution for a year or two, on a "day" department and necessarily in a state institution.

The next important aspect is knowledge. Confirm them have to take exams (only in some faculties) and interview (always takes place). In any case, you will have to answer "native German", so you need to prepare for this. If there is an international certificate confirming the knowledge of German, the interview will pass easily and the knowledge of the language will not be required. Otherwise, you need to prepare for a DSH written examination.

This exam is the most important for you. And here there are three options - either you "without talking" are taken to training, or immediately sent home. But, for example, you just did not get a few points. In this case, some departments can still be accessed, but somewhere in 6 months will have to retake the language test. This time you either hand over or not - the shortfalls are simply not counted.

What level of language skills is required?

The answer is simple - the minimum is the European level C1 according to CEFR. If you target a philologist or faculty, somehow connected with philology or language, then knowledge at C2 level. For student college, B1 and B2 will suffice. But in the college you will not learn German - it will remain for self-preparation. However, if you live in Germany, then in time your level of language knowledge will grow by itself (it will have to communicate with the Germans).
