The Republic of Rwanda is in eastern Africa, bordering the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Tanzania and Burundi. Rwanda is called the country of a thousand hills. The climate is seasonally humid, subequatorial. Thunderstorms at this time of year in Rwanda are not uncommon.
