On Friday at 16. 10 local time in the south-east of France in the city of Mesange, a school bus collided with a high-speed train. The bus literally broke into two parts. It contained 50 children and six adults. The bus transported college students from the city of Miyas and two more municipalities.
Four children died on the spot, seven more were seriously injured. In total, 20 schoolchildren were injured. Four children are in critical condition. The youngest victim is 8 years old, the oldest is 15. On the spot, rescuers and police worked, helicopters were used to evacuate the victims.
