Italian carmaker Dallara has released the first for its 45-year history car for public roads. It is reported by Motor Authority. Double sports car in the body of a barketta (a kind of roadster without doors) is equipped with a 400 horsepower engine. The car will be produced in an amount of 600 copies. Price - 182.5 thousand dollars in the basic configuration. At the request of the customer, the car can be retrofitted with a roof, gull-wing doors and a composite windscreen, thus transforming it into a compartment. As representatives of the company explained, Dallara Stradale was designed as a gift for the 81-th anniversary of the founder of the brand Jan Paolo Dallara.

Previously, the company produced only racing cars. for "Formula 1" and "Formula 3", and also supplied chassis for the racing series GP2 and IndyCar. The founder of the firm Gian Paolo Dallara in the 1960s worked in Ferrari and Maserati, and since 1963 he was the chief designer of Lamborghini. Among his developments - the model Espada and Miura. In 1972, Dallara founded his own company.
