Director Alexey Uchitel believes that the refusal of the united network of cinemas "Cinema Park" and "Formula Kino" from the screening of the film "Matilda" is nothing but a blow to the whole Russian cinema. He told about this in an interview with "Komsomolskaya Pravda". "I do not understand how such a decision could be made (. ) I believe that this is not a blow to Matilda and not to me, it's a blow to the whole Russian cinema. So, the next time everything will repeat - as soon as someone threatens with arson just because someone does not like something in someone's movie, again there will be a refusal, "Teacher said, adding that he will still make an attempt to agree with representatives of a network of cinemas about display of a tape. September 12, it became known that the network of cinemas "Cinema Park" and "Formula Cinema" will not show "Matilda". The press service of the network noted that the refusal to display the tape is associated with threats to cinemas. Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky called the pressure of activists-arsonists on the cinemas because of "Matilda" censorship and lawlessness, and also urged law enforcement agencies to curb such incidents.

The minister noted that he does not understand what Poklonskaya is following when opposing Teacher's film. Also, the official said that the scandal surrounding the tape "filled his cup of patience". Earlier in September, lawyer Konstantin Dobrynin, representing the interests of the Teacher, talked about the threats of arson to hundreds of cinemas because of "Matilda". According to him, other organizations connected with the rental of paintings received warnings.

The teacher called the refusal to hire "Matilda" a blow to the whole Russian cinema.
