Horror "It" directed by Andres Mousquetti set a new record for horror films in the American box office. On this Monday, September 11, reports The Guardian. For the first weekend, the tape has collected 117.2 million dollars in 4103 US theaters. The picture more than doubled the achievements of the film "Paranormal phenomenon 3", earned 52.6 million for the first weekend in 2011.

"It" also set a record among all September's premieres in history. Prior to that, the leader in the September collections was the animated comedy "Monsters on vacation" in 2015. Mousquetti's tape was a remake of the 1990 horror film. The screen version of the novel of the same name by Stephen King tells how the children begin to disappear in a small American city - they are kidnapped by the terrible clown Pennyvayz.
