Russians will reach the European standard of living over the next 15 years with an economic growth of 4.5 percent per year. The IMF expects that in 2017 the Russian economy will grow by 1.4 percent, in 2018 - by 1.5 percent. Global GDP this year will increase by 3.5 percent and 3.6 percent in the future, the economy of the European Union by 1.9 percent and 1.7 percent, respectively. According to the head of the council of the CSR, former Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin, by 2035 with the help of reforms it will be possible to double Russia's GDP. Without changes in GDP, even in the most successful years will grow by no more than 2.5 percent and by 2035 will increase by only 50 percent compared to 2016, the expert believes..
