China threatened India with war if Indian troops did not leave the disputed plateau in the Himalayas.

This was stated by the head of the Center for International Cooperation on Security Issues of the Ministry of Defense of the PRC Zhou Bo.

It is reported that Zhou Bo and Major General of the Indian Army, retired Ashok Mehta, took part in the debates on CGTN, during which the Indian general said that Chinese media are writing aggressive articles about India, drawing into the conflict.

China began to build an automobile road through a plateau, provoking a protest from Bhutan. A few days later, Indian soldiers, with whom Bhutan had friendly relations, crossed the state border and, after a short skirmish, were forced out of the area by the reports of the Chinese military.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China later reported that the site where the road was being built was again under the control of the Chinese military.
