The Detroit Court placed him under arrest.

If his guilt is proven, he faces up to 169 years in prison. Earlier it was reported that VW had reached agreements with the US authorities on fines and compensation payments totaling more than $ 18 billion as part of the settlement of the scandal surrounding the underreporting of data on diesel engine emissions.
