In the city of Akhtubinsk in the Astrakhan region, five people were poisoned with alcohol-containing liquid, as a result of which three of them died.

In this case, according to the city administration, which substance caused the poisoning, it is now being clarified, writes Znak.

"The administration of Akhtubinsk informs you that on the night of June 20-21, five people were poisoned with an unknown alcohol-containing liquid, as a result of which three died, two are being treated in Akhtubinsk RB, one of them is in intensive care," the statement said. Site administration.

I have already established that on Monday evening, on the river bank, three young people found a canister with an unknown liquid that had a distinct smell of alcohol. The guys took the canister home of one of them and diluted its contents with water. The resulting "cocktail" they drank. To the "feast" of young people two neighbors, a man and a woman, joined.

In the morning of the next day, all five entered the district hospital in a state of acute intoxication. Later one woman and two men died.

As noted, the death occurred as a result of the toxic effect of an unidentified fluid.

One person is in a coma, another in serious condition.

Among the injured there are two minors: a 14-year-old nephew of one of the dead and his friend.
