Russian President Vladimir Putin is not a "spokesman for the younger generation"; Russian youth prefer oppositionist Alexei Navalny, who is "closer to the tenth generation".

This opinion was expressed to the "Observer" by the Russian lawyer Mark Feigin.

Summing up the results of the recent protests in Russia, which significantly "rejuvenated", the lawyer stated: "Putin is not the spokesman of the younger generation. That's why Navalny is supported by young people, although it belongs to the middle generation ".

"He is more likely from the zero years, so he is closer to the generation of tenths who support him. For the simple reason that he expresses the same interests, "- explained Feigin.

The lawyer cited the example of Libya, where for 42 years the rules of Muammar Gaddafi. In old age, he did "strange things" to please the youth, because he understood that between him and them there was a "yawning abyss". "He started doing plastic surgeries, he got young lovers, he even tried to play music. Nevertheless, the younger generation, which, in fact, overthrew Gadhafi's regime, did not understand him. They spoke a different language. The youth was simply unable to understand what he was talking about, "said Feigin.

"It seemed to me that the same way the youth did not understand what language Putin was talking to them. Why? Because they do not watch TV - in any form. Internet only. There is another language, another culture, another reality, semi-virtual, "stated the lawyer.

He also added that the Russians at the age of 20 plus, who made up the bulk of the protesters - "these are people who simply do not have any prospects who realize that even getting education does not give them anything".

As the "Observer" wrote, earlier Mark Feigin stated: the protest movement, which began in the Russian Federation, can not be stopped by the resignation of the prime minister-corrupt official; A new round of protests will provoke the next presidential election in Russia, when the main question will be: "Who voted for Putin? We did not vote for him".
