As I promised, I went to Sakharov Square today, but I did not go to Tverskaya Street. It is clear that the meeting failed, and there and there. Unlike Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk and other Russian cities, Muscovites were disunited, disoriented and demotivated. And the reason for this is not the power of the city, but, alas, the organizers of the rally.
The principle of organization of any voluntary mass actions is the principle that during the last 48 hours the time and place of holding such actions can not be changed. People do not have time to orient themselves and most of them will just stay at home. I am sure that Alexei Anatolyevich Navalny knew me as well as I knew about this principle when he announced under false pretenses that the rally on Sakharov Square was canceled and there would be a walk along Tverskaya Street.
When I approached the framework for Sakharov, young people, lined up with a chain, tried to stop me, declaring that there would be no rally. And at the same time, the police invited all those who came to the rally to go through the framework and go to the rostrum. I do not know how many young people stopped, but thousands of two demonstrators approached the rostrum. There were loudspeakers and speakers amplification. Everything was in place. I met my old friends, people approached me and strangers at all. Everyone did not understand what to do next.. Most of the participants were opponents of the renovation law. After some hesitation, they took the rostrum and began to talk about the excesses that Sobyanin was doing. I was unpleasantly surprised by the St. George ribbons of some speakers and the fact that one lady in the open cursing Sobyanin extolled Volodin as a defender of the humiliated and insulted. And all the speakers said that politicians threw them, that the opposition is not about people's troubles, but about self-promotion, that none of the party leaders came to the rally. And they, alas, were right.
I left with a bitter feeling. In Moscow, played a farce, and not cheap. Those who went to Tverskaya and behaved aggressively actively - arrested, beaten. What for? Realizing the reality of our police regime, was it not better to all to express to him the protest than hopelessly to head into the fire when everything around was allowed and safe?.
Why did Alexei Anatolyevich have to destroy him so well organized in the beginning of the protest action and throw people under the batons of policemen?.
And one pleases - the whole of Russia wakes up. Demonstrations and rallies of protest took place from Vladivostok to our western borders.
What did not work today will work tomorrow. I believe in it.
