The first place was taken by St. Petersburg, the second - near Moscow Khimki. Closed the top three leaders of Kronstadt. Moscow was on the eighth position, losing to Kazan, Ulyanovsk, Ussuriisk and Cheboksary. In total, 100 thousand people from 1600 settlements took part in the eco-marathon for three months. "It is gratifying that during the projects people were able to organize really very large-scale events in their cities," notes the initiator of the action, a member of the Public Chamber Elena Sutormina.

"We are satisfied with the intermediate results, and we can say with confidence that our project showed: The year of ecology is first and foremost initiative citizens". She organized a collection of books for the burned library in Plesetsk and held an ecological festival at the school, which collected three tons of recyclables and 28 kilograms of batteries.
