The European Union expanded the sanctions list against North Korea, adding it to four legal entities and 14 individuals.

This is reported by Ukrinform with reference to the communique of the EU Council.

Now in the list of restrictive measures appear 53 physical and 46 legal entities of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, against which travel restrictions and freezing of assets.

The measures were taken because of Pyongyang's new missile tests.

Such actions are a violation of international law by the leadership of the DPRK.

Let's add that today the restrictive measures of the EU against the DPRK are applied on 53 people and 46 institutions that are simultaneously under UN sanctions.

The EU also imposed sanctions against 41 people and 7 institutions related to the North Korean regime.

As reported by the "Observer", US aircraft carriers left the water area near the DPRK.
