President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin said that in Russia they do not infringe the rights of homosexuals.
A corresponding statement by the owner of the Kremlin was made in an interview with American director Oliver Stone, who asked Bloomberg.
So, during the conversation, Stone asked Putin whether homosexuals in the Russian Federation are faced with discrimination in connection with the law adopted in 2013 on the prohibition of "the propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations among minors".
"There are no restrictions," the Russian president said.. He also opposed the Russian Federation to some Islamic countries, in which, according to Putin, gays are executed.
In addition, the director asked Putin if he was ready to shower on a submarine next to a homosexual.
"I would prefer not to go showering with him. Why provoke it? Although you know, I am a master of judo, "- said the Russian leader.
As the "Observer" reported, several men were killed and more than a hundred were detained as a result of hunting, which was organized in Chechnya by law enforcers against representatives of LGBT people.
