As Novaya Gazeta writes, the old jobs were given by the Minister of the Interior of Lithuania Eimuntas Misiunas and the staff of the Border Service of Lithuania.

The process of erecting a wall on the border with the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation began.

The Prime Minister of the country Saulius Cured in the winter announced the erection of the wall by Lithuania's obligation: "We are obliged to ensure proper control of the eastern border of the European Union".

The fence according to the plan should be low: only 2 meters.

It will be made of metal and equipped with night vision cameras and motion sensors.

Recall, in Ukraine, the project "Wall" was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on September 5, 2014 as a unilateral initiative of the Ukrainian leadership on equipping the border with Russia. Later, the project was named "European shaft". For the implementation of the project it was planned to spend about 4 billion UAH.
