Three explosions thundered at the funeral in the Afghan capital of Kabul, killing at least 20, injuring 35 people.

This was reported by the Ministry of Health, reports Aljazeera.

The funeral ceremony was held for the son of Senator Mohammad Alam Isadjar, who was killed during the demonstration the day before, demanding better security in the country.

Protesters took to the streets after the identified security flaws as a result of a powerful explosion on May 31, when at least 90 people were killed in Kabul.



The hilly area was strewn with corpses of bloodied and dismembered limbs that showed local television channels, the witness said, noting that "people were torn to pieces" because of explosions.

As reported by the "Observer", the video appeared video of the consequences of a powerful explosion that thundered in Kabul in the morning of May 31 near the presidential palace and buildings of foreign embassies. Responsibility for the attack was assumed by the terrorist group "Islamic State".
