The decision of US President Donald Trump to leave the Paris agreement on climate is fraught with very serious consequences.

This "Observer" was told by the expert of the National Ecological Center of Ukraine Irina Stavchuk.

"The first reason is the huge emissions of the USA. They and China are the leading countries in this moment. Together, they throw out about 30% of the world's total greenhouse gases. Secondly, the United States is one of the richest countries in the world, and they have invested heavily in capacity development, reducing emissions in many developing countries. Ukraine is also the recipient of such assistance through the UN system. Accordingly, the US withdrawal from the Paris Agreement raises doubts about the ability of others to implement the program they have conceived, "explained Stavchuk.

Recall that the withdrawal from the Paris agreement on climate was one of Trump's election promises. To the very theme of the fight against climate change, the US president considers the "scam", invented to curb the growth of industry.
