The US Senate introduced a bill to tighten sanctions against Russia because of its actions in Ukraine and Syria, and also because of the hacking of American computers.

This is written by the agency Bloomberg.

Initiators were made on Wednesday by the chairman of the banking committee of the upper house Mike Grapo and the senior Democrat Sherrod Brown.

They said that, according to the bill, new sanctions will be directed to the Russian economy, including the mining industry, metallurgy and railway transport.

"Despite the existing sanctions, Russia is still a hostile, unruly power that deploys its military activities related to cyber-information espionage and takes economic measures to harm the United States and drive a wedge between them and their allies," - The new bill says.

As reported by the "Observer", earlier earlier G7 threatened the Kremlin with new sanctions.
