Russian President Vladimir Putin once again named the Kiev prince Yaroslav the Wise and his daughter Queen Anne of France - Russian.

The corresponding statement was made by the Russian leader in an interview with the French newspaper Le Figaro, the press service of the Kremlin reports..

"In the 11th century, here came the youngest daughter of one of our great princes Yaroslav the Wise Anna, who became the wife of the French King Henry I.
