Friends and enemies of Russia

According to Fox News, 64% of Americans consider Russia an enemy of their country. This is excellent, like all reciprocity, because, according to polls of the Levada Center, 72% of Russians consider the main enemy of the United States. The difference is not due to the fact that we have more faith in propaganda, but because we consider the US as the main enemy all the more pleasant than Russia. States are larger, although smaller.

I was delighted with this result because we have with America two formats of relations: respectful hostility and contemptuous friendship. From contemptuous friendship, there is Bush's leg, the peering of another Bush into Putin's honest eyes, and eventually NATO's eastward expansion. From respectful enmity there is an arms race, sophisticated espionage, the rapid development of science and culture on this basis, competition and, as a result, restructuring. As you wish, the second paradigm I like more.

All this was confirmed after the death of Zbigniew Brzezinski, whom Russian conservatives (as they call themselves the justifiers of repressive measures and supporters of mass mobilizations) conducted terribly respectfully - much more respectfully than usually escorted by friends. We, like America, do not respect our friends. We see in them first of all profit. But the enemies are worthy guys. We do not appreciate the state of friendship, because we see in it a sign of weakness or patronage, but it's cruel to hate and honor a worthy opponent - it's always us. Russia is only friends with those who can be patted - for example, with the atoll Nauru; But the States in the enemy - this is serious. This gives us a scale. And although very few people talked about Russia and the Russians such harsh words as Brzezinski, something about him does not hang the label of Russophobe. I remember well how, in 1982, the lecturer of the Znanie society, who came to the boarding house, called Brzezinski a son of a bitch, but it was said with approximately the same intonation with which Pushkin sentenced, finishing the composition of Godunov, clapping: "Aye da Pushkin , Ah yes son of a bitch! ".

We do not like friends, not ours, let all kinds of small types of Georgia and Ukraine be friends. The superpower should not have friends, but interests. As we know, we have two allies - the army and the navy. Well, now, let's say, oil and gas. We ourselves do not love anyone and want everyone to be afraid of us.. And if 64% of Americans declared us enemies - that means they respected. Have finally understood who can turn them into radioactive ash.

And then what is it: we weekly incinerate them with Dmitry Kiselyov's glance, and these obamtsy do not notice! Now noticed.

It is no coincidence that in the midst of perestroika the main hit was the song "Goodbye, America". It's time Butusov write a new one - "Hello, America".
