"As the exploits of our army did not fit into history, so the history of my country will never fit into the parliaments of other countries!" - categorically states the President of Turkey Recep Erdogan. He is one of the most unrestrained in the words of modern leaders of states, which in fact belongs to almost the most emotionless psychotype: INTJ, "Strategist".

MBTI is Myers-Briggs Type Indicator: a classification comprising 16 psychotypes, developed on the basis of personality theory by the psychoanalyst Karl Gustav Jung, created by him to explain the normal differences between healthy people. Over the past 70 years MBTI has been actively used in more than 60 countries around the world. Today, more than 70% of Fortune 500 companies use the MBTI tool to effectively build their teams.

According to Jung, differences in behavior arise because of the innate tendencies of people to use their brain differently. People act on these trends, so they develop different patterns of behavior. Psychotype is the basis of our psyche. These are innate unconscious attitudes of personality - the core, which forms up to three years, the formation of which is not affected either by the environment, nor by education, nor by parents, nor by genetics. Psychotype - our essence and foundation with a set of strong and weak, positive and negative qualities. It can be compared with a skeleton, and behavior - with clothes, depending on the mood and circumstances.

So, who are the "Strategists"? A distinctive feature of the psychotype, to which Erdogan can be attributed on the basis of applied psychoanalysis, is that INTJ can better calculate the variants and do nothing for nothing.

This is the most rational of all types of people, using a rational start both for decision-making and for their implementation. In addition, "Strategists", more than other psychotypes, are able to control their emotions and are not able to take them into account when it is necessary to take any serious decision. The excellent ability to concentrate in addition to the ability to emotionally detach and judge impartially makes INTJ incredibly effective in planning and achieving any goals.

But how does it turn out that a person belonging to such a rational psychotype always allows himself sharp emotional statements that seem completely unacceptable for the leader of the state? For example, before the April referendum in Turkey, he publicly compared Germany to the Third Reich, and called the residents of the Netherlands "heirs of the Nazis": all this is due to the refusal of these countries to allow pre-election rallies for the Turkish diaspora. And in his message on the occasion of Europe Day, which is celebrated in the EU countries on May 9, Erdogan criticized the European Union for disseminating "discrimination, cultural racism, xenophobia and Islamophobia".

At first glance it seems that the president of Turkey, as they say, does not choose words. That's only in fact, he chooses them very, very carefully: as befits a true "Strategy".

Erdogan's electors are religious people of conservative views, and it is on them that all of his seemingly emotional, but in fact rationally verified rhetoric. And this calculation is once again true. Here is the constitutional referendum, which significantly expanded its powers, Erdogan won. And at the end of May he again headed the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), which he was forced to leave in August 2014 after being elected president, as the Constitution demanded. Thus, Turkey's president has further strengthened its power.

To his present high position, Erdogan has been consistently and resolutely. "Strategists" are perfectly able to clearly imagine the final result of any business. If INTJ are working on the realization of their own idea or concept, then they can do it with amazing energy, concentration and enthusiasm. In addition, they are excellent organizers when it comes to the implementation of their projects. All this gives them the opportunity to easily achieve their goals - even the most ambitious ones.

Erdogan comes from a poor family. As a teenager, the future president of Turkey was selling lemonade and rolls on the streets of Istanbul, but he always wanted more and systematically went to it. Already at 22, he headed the youth branch of the Party of National Salvation.

Representatives of the INTJ psychotype have a natural propensity for organization and structure. Therefore, they naturally and comfortably feel themselves in any organization and often reach senior positions and positions of responsibility. Erdogan, actively engaged in politics, after 10 years entered the top of the Welfare Party, and in 1994, at the age of 40, became Mayor of Istanbul. In 2001, he founded the Justice and Development Party, which won the next year's parliamentary elections. And since 2014 Erdogan is the President of Turkey.

But, with all their mind and prudence, there is an INTJ and a weak spot. Namely, the inability to admit one's mistakes. Possessing a very strong will and desire for independence, the "Strategists" practically do not change their decisions after they were adopted. Moreover: the more convincing "Strategy" in his wrong, the stronger he will resist. Such inflexibility and readiness to go to an ultimatum at any moment is a dangerous character trait for a politician capable at a certain moment to put in jeopardy all his carefully designed plans.

Other known "Strategies" The abbreviation INTJ stands for: I is introversion, N-intuition, T is rationality, J-judgments. This psychotype can be attributed to the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, the Russian Emperor Peter I, the Cardinal of France Richelieu, the Soviet dictator Josef Stalin, the British Prime Minister Theresa May.
