The prosecutor's office of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo filed an accusation of a premeditated murder earlier by severely beaten Russian Alexei Makeev.

This was reported by the head of the consular department of the Russian embassy in Mexico, Dmitry Bolbot, reports BBC.

The Russian diplomat stressed that Makeev "refuses any participation of the embassy in this matter" and is not going to return to Russia.

As reported by the "Observer", Mexicans almost lynched Makeyev because of his harsh statements about local residents.

Also, it became known earlier about the "dark past" of a Russian beaten in Mexico. Makeev himself recorded a video message, where he called the attack a terrorist attack.
