Russia is ready for bilateral talks with the US over Ukraine.
This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, the "Izvestia".
According to him, Russia is waiting for the appointment of a new curator for Ukraine in the US State Department.
Ryabkov added that the interaction between the US and Russia will help implement the Minsk agreements. He urged the US administration to conduct a dialogue with the Kiev authorities if they want to move forward.
"Moscow is ready for a substantive discussion with the American side" at the level of high-ranking representatives responsible for this topic ".
And as soon as these discussions are launched, Russia will once again bring its position to the American colleagues, "writes the publication referring to Ryabkov.
According to a source in the presidential administration, Russia will be supervised by the presidential aide Vladislav Surkov.
