A new outing of terrorists in Egypt

In Egypt, there was an attack on two buses and a truck with Christian Copts. In the buses were pilgrims who were following the monastery of Beni-Sueif. Among the pilgrims were many children.

In the area of ??the monastery of St. Samuel near the village of El Adavva (220 kilometers from Cairo) buses were fired by unknown persons traveling on three off-road vehicles. A dozen masked terrorists shelled pilgrims from automatic weapons. It is known about 28 dead, most of them were children. The Coptic Church calls another number of dead - 35. More than 20 people were injured. The wounded were taken to the hospital of El Migny, and then all seriously wounded were transported to the clinics of Cairo.

Police officers scour the area, trying to find the attackers. The action against Christians was clearly planned, the bus route was well known.

Previously there was an attack on Christians on Palm Sunday. Then terrorists staged terrorist attacks in front of Christian churches. From explosions killed more than 40 people. More than a hundred people were injured.



And then in April and for the last time the responsibility for acts of terrorism was assumed by the organization "Islamic State" banned in Russia. In April, after the explosions in Egypt for three months, a state of emergency was declared.

Condolences in connection with the terrorist attacks to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi was expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the heads of Israel and Palestine.

The Foreign Ministry urged tourists from Russia who are in Egypt to avoid visiting crowded places where there is an increased terrorist danger.
