It is noted that the name of Sheremet will be added to the memorial among the 14 names of the journalists who died in 2016 during the ceremony on June 5. The list also includes Sheremet's dead colleagues from Afghanistan, Brazil, India, Iraq, Libya, Mexico, Syria and Somalia.

Taking into account the new surnames, the memorial of the museum will count the names of 2,285 dead journalists and media workers since 1837.
