In Ushumani (Russia), schoolchildren on the Day of Pioneeria mutilated the local monument to Vladimir Lenin.

So, the pedestal is damaged at the monument, vases, arms and legs are broken, as well as parts of the jacket. Young "vandals" were detained several hours after the crime, "Amurskaya Pravda".

It turned out that two teenagers, pupils of the 8th and 9th grades, beat the sculpture of the Soviet leader with bits.

They explained their action by disagreements with the policies of the founder of the Soviet state.

Russian media note that "the monument in Ushumun is one of the oldest monuments to Vladimir Lenin, established in 1939, and it is on the state record as a monument of the history of regional importance".

As reported by the "Observer", earlier users of social networks amused the photo of the renovated monument to Vladimir Lenin in Ulan-Ude (Buryatia, Russia).
