The population of Russia will always remain "Soviet", unlike the Byelorussians, who, with the change of power, can quickly find themselves in Europe.

This opinion was expressed by journalist Alexander Morozov on his Facebook page.

"I have repeatedly visited Belarus from Russia. And here for the first time has driven from Lithuania. And I experienced some completely new perception. Describe it is very difficult. Entering from Russia, you see, as it were, the same "Russia", separated by a conditional border, with the Russian population, but with another "secretary of the regional committee". Having entered from the side of the European Union, you also get into some kind of "Russia". But this is an "intermediate Russia", a certain barrier country populated by the Russian-speaking population. Moreover, in the style and temperament - these Russian-speakers are not Russian, but rather "like the Czechs" - that is, a very calm, self-serving, benevolent Slavic people, perfectly suitable for integration into Europe. That is, simply ordinary European people, like the Czechs or even Poles. And then a sudden feeling pierces you: you realize that with the departure of Lukashenka, these Belarusians can quickly find themselves in Europe than the Russians with the departure of Putin, "he wrote.

According to the journalist, Belarusians can turn out to be new Czechs, and Russians - never.

"I remember well that such an impression on me was made by the Vologda region and its population. These Vologdians - change their power - easily take any form. They easily "go" into the Euroformat. And at the same time, when you remember no less than the "Russian" Belgorod region, you clearly understand that there is the same history, only on the contrary - the power is replaced - these Belgorodians will remain somehow - it is difficult to write - but as if "by Soviet ", Not subject to any euroformatu.

This is some other "Russian people". In other words, within Russia itself there is that part of the people (the "peoples of individual gubernias"), which as "Czechs", but is that part of the people that are "not like the Czechs," Morozov continued.

As reported by the "Observer", earlier Lukashenka said about the threat of independence of Belarus, assessing the war in Ukraine, as a war for independence.
