Director General of Megafon Sergei Soldatenkov said that the victims of the failure of subscribers will be compensated. His address is posted on VKontakte on Saturday, May 20. "Last night and in the morning, we carried out the necessary work to restore the full operation of the network and the final elimination of the consequences of a software error. Now the network works stably both in Moscow and in other regions where there were problems with voice communication yesterday, "the publication says.. As the general director emphasized, the company takes measures to prevent this situation from happening again. Earlier on the question of compensation, "Megafon" answered thus: "This opportunity will be considered at the end of the work".

Mass malfunction in the network "Megaphone" occurred on May 19. Problems also affected and Yota, operating on the infrastructure of the operator. Difficulties with communication were experienced by users in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Ryazan and other cities. Megafon is one of the largest Russian mobile operators.
