In St. Petersburg, the opening of the renovated plant "First Furniture". This is stated in the company's press release. Upgrade of the production of "First Furniture" began in 2014. The volume of investments in the technical modernization of the factory amounted to 50 million euros, of which 100 million rubles were provided by the St. Petersburg Foundation for Industrial Development in the form of a loan under the program of targeted business support at a preferential rate of five percent per annum. The production area of ??the plant was 52 thousand square meters. In the course of the project, a complete renovation of two workshops of the plant with an area of ??11,4 thousand square meters was completed, a new workshop (4,3 thousand square meters) and a new warehouse complex (7 thousand square meters) were built. The production is equipped with new automated lines HOMAG GROUP and IMA GROUP, Purchased in Switzerland. As a result of the reconstruction, the capacity of the "First Furniture" production lines has grown five-fold and allows producing 50,000 kitchen sets a year, the company has expanded the range of furniture, including kitchens, office furniture, bedrooms, living rooms, libraries, furniture for children. "The First Furniture Factory" has been operating on the Russian market since 1945.

Today it is the foundation of a large holding, which includes the largest furniture centers of St. Petersburg and Moscow: Mebel-City, Mebel-City-2, Mebel-City Moscow, Garden City shopping center and more than 10 Branded salons. Among the implemented projects: the supply of furniture for the New Stage of the Mariinsky Theater, the Hermitage, the SCO, BRICS and G20 summits, the complex equipment of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.
