The stone is part of the weighed 1109 carats (221.8 grams) of the Lesedi la Rona diamond ("Our Light"), the second largest in history. In June 2016, the auction house Sotheby's put Lesedi la Rona at auction in London, but could not sell it. The largest amount offered for it was $ 61 million. At the same time, the estimated value of the stone is $ 70 million. Therefore, it was withdrawn from the auction.
