In France, published election lists of the Macron party

The party of French President-elect Emmanuel Macron "Forward!" Promulgated lists of candidates for the National Assembly.

As of May 11, the list of 428 candidates. It should include even more than 100 people, since the lower house of the French parliament consists of 577 deputies, the "BBC Ukraine".

Men and women in the Macro party list are represented in equal numbers, 52% of them are from civil society.

The list of the presidential party includes only 24 active members of parliament. All of them are representatives of the Socialist Party. Former Prime Minister Manuel Wals is not on the list, since he does not meet the selection criteria - he was elected three times by a deputy.

The average age of candidates is 46 years, while the average age of deputies of the current parliament is 60 years.

The youngest candidate is 24, the oldest is 72. About 10 of them are unemployed, 20 are retired. Also included in the list are several students.

The list included a number of well-known people in France: candidates from the presidential party were mathematician Cedric Villani, former counselor of Hollande on communication Gaspard Ganz, ex-judge Erik Halfen and former matador Marie Sarah.

19 thousand French have already applied for membership in the party.

Representatives of the political forces conducted telephone interviews with 1,700 of them.

At the same time, French media reported inaccuracies in the list. A number of persons included in the list deny their membership in the party "Forward!". In addition, at least one candidate with a criminal record was found on the list, although the party had previously promised not to allow this.

Parliamentary elections in France to be held on 11 and 18 June.
